It all began because you can take oil and other products out of whales blubber. The IWC is a company that is made to safe whales and to protect them no matter what. When people saw that you can take alot of products about whales many companys started to kill whale for there products to gain money. This continued for many years. Know we have problems.

PBL Final Reflecion

when we first started this project dident not know not so much about whales. Then through out the project I started to know more and more about whales. I injoied this project because i learned alot about Humpback whale and the trips we did. Before i dident know in a specific place werethe whales come to Dominican Republic and know I know more than that I know for whats the blubber, the fins, and why do they call them Humpback whales. There was joy and frustration because frustration was when we needed to do alot of work and when the work was given we dident understand it. Joy was when we went to the field trip and we had lots of fun looking at the whales and learning. I liked very much these whale project we had lots of fun.

Samana Whale Trip

This samana trip was awesome. We took a lot of time to see the whales. When we got there we saw whales moist in the air. For a lot of time we only saw whales throwing there moist into the air. When we were almost leaving we saw a whale breach, it was very close to the boat. Then that same whale breached like three more times. When we were leaving we saw the whale very far breach again. Then when we were going back we saw dolphins go under the boat. The awesome part was when we got to the beach the food wasn’t so good but we had a lot of fun. It was an awesome trip.

Reflection

Today in social studies we read a quote” What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, men would die from loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts happens to man. All things are connected..." and saw a video about what people are doing to animals and what could happen. Human begins are the cause of global warming. Human begins are to responsible for the extinction of animals. We can’t leave without animals because one day we will need for emergency animals. We human begin are putting in danger the whales. One perfect example was a movie of Star Trek in the year 1980. In the movie Star Trek is a great example because it talks about what can happen in the future if we are in a big trouble and we need animals. I think that the video is true because if an animal gets to be extinct it will affect allots of things like for example the food span and other type of causes like the production of meat, oils, and soaps. People not need to care only for animals but for the plant to and what could happen in the future if we don’t resolve the problem. If we human begin don’t resolve the problem we will regret by no resolving the problem. I think that Chief Seattle the one that rote the quote is right because men wile feel lonely in this world if we don’t have animals imagine a ocean without fish and a world without animals. The human are dismantling the web of life. Humans are destroying the world slowly be killing animals and killing plants. We the human begins are really but really ending with the whales because we use them as sources because of the whales we have soap, oils, and other useful products that we use all the time. Humans kill the whales when they can here to the Dominican Republic or other places to migrate because when they come here to migrate they are really fat and have tons of blubber on there bodies. The whales get killed by accident to because when they are swimming they get trapped in a fishing net are get harmed by motor boats. Theirs a lot of foundations that help animals but the most important that helps whales is called Green World. They have got in many trouble but have saved a lot of whales for the effort and there sacrifice.
